The DeltaTherm is a full-field, non-contacting, imaging system used to characterize the behavior of materials and structures undergoing stress. Using planar array infrared detectors and high-speed data acquisition and image processing, DeltaTherm creates near real-time images of surface temperature variations to a resolution of 0.001 degree C. The images provide an excellent visual correlation of stresses caused by loading on a structure.
