NASA Ames Research Center (ARC) Located at Moffet Field, CA, Ames specializes in research geared toward creating new knowledge and new technologies that span the spectrum of NASA interests.

NASA Dryden Flight Research Facility (DFRF) Located in Edwards CA, Dryden is responsible for flight research and flight testing for NASA.

NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) Northeast of Washington, DC., this NASA field center is a major U.S. laboratory for developing and operating unmanned scientific spacecraft. Goddard is the lead center in NASA's Mission to Planet Earth program, NASA's long term, coordinated research effort to study the Earth as a global environmental system.
