NDE SITES
The following is a list of sites that contain NDE information or illustrate
NDE in action. The emphasis is on sites pertaining to various thermal methods.
Many of these sites contain a reviewed list of even more sites.
Battelle Memorial Labs Overview of
Battelle's organization and testing capabilities.
Cleveland State University
Advance Manufacturing Center. The AMC is a joint venture between CSU and
area industry. This site illustrates the various NDT methods in use and
being developed at CSU
College of
William & Mary NDE Projects On going NDE projects in the
Applied Physics at W & M. They include Ultrasonics, TSA, and photoelasticity.
Durability Incorporated A small
company in Blacksburg VA specializing in material characterization, software
for design and analysis (including life prediction, durability, and damage
tolerance); software, hardware and training, for data acquisition, automation,
and process control; chemical waste analysis and handling; and biomaterials
and devices. They also have extensive methods for NDT.
EPRI
Electric Power Research Institute Overview of EPRI's best accomplishments
including predictive maintenance and NDE.
FAA Aging Aircraft NDI Center Site

General
Electric R&D Describes NDE at the GE R&D Center including eddy

Evaluation Sciences Branch This home page is a starting point for NASA's
major NDE branch which develops new techniques for the agency and works

NTIAC Nondestructive
Testing Information and Analysis Center A site funded by the DOD dedicated
to disseminating information on NDE featuring a searchable database and
more links.

that does consulting in NDT and vibration analysis. The site gives an overview
of their capabilities and history.
Breton ND Testing Inc. Another Canadian
company that does testing and consulting using many NDE techniques including
eddy current, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, radiography, and ultrasonics.
Hocking Site gives overview
of this British companies NDT products which are eddy current based and
includes a primer on this technique. It also includes another page of NDT
links.

that is the European distributor for the DeltaTherm 1000 system and also
sell Vibration Pattern Imaging (VPI) systems for displacement measurements.
