| Warm the leftover epoxy and paint it onto the part with a soft brush. Warm the coating and transfer sheet so it becomes pliable. Apply the coating sheet to the part starting at locations of critical tolerance. Slowly roll the coating down making sure to work out any air pockets. Re-heat the coating and transfer sheet with a hairdryer as needed to make them more pliable and easier to apply.
An alternative method is to glue the coating to the component with silvered epoxy. |
