After several hours at room temperature the coating should reach a soft but not fluid condition. You should be able to leave a finger print in the coating without pulling strings of coating away. The coating should retain marks without healing itself quickly. Remember, the coating will soften when heated. If cured at elevated temperature, the coating should be applied at a tackier stage. The coating will stiffen as it cools.
