In this step you will create the negative pattern or the "transfer sheet mold." The transfer sheets consists of two plies of non-stick rubber bonded lightly together. The coating pattern created in Step 2 is flipped face down and traced with a pen and then cut out with a knife. Both plies of the transfer sheet are cut, but only the top ply is removed creating a self-dammed mold used to form the coating.
