Create a pattern of the coating by laying a rubber sheet over the area to be coated. When heated with a hairdryer, the sheet will conform to the surface of the area. If wrinkles in the rubber are unavoidable, reconsider the pattern design. Not all parts can be coated with one simple shape. Trim the pattern on the component to define the final coating area.
